On February 25, the webinar \u201cLa Oficina de Procesos del Futuro\u201d,<\/strong> organized by Interact Latam, brought together professionals in the field to discuss the key changes shaping the Process Office of the Future and how professionals can prepare for them.<\/p>\n

The online event featured a presentation by Pedro Robledo<\/a>, an expert in Process Management and Digital Transformation. Robledo opened the webinar with a thought-provoking question essential for professionals in the field: Is your company\u2019s process office improving processes\u2014or signing its own irrelevance in the era of Artificial Intelligence?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The presentation delivered a clear and provocative perspective on the strategic role of the Process Office of the future. Rather than serving merely as a BPMN repository, it evolves into the organization\u2019s operational brain\u2014a strategic area capable of orchestrating processes, decisions, and intelligent automation in real time, bringing organizational strategy closer to operations and technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The topic directly reflects current trends and challenges in the field, particularly those driven by advancements in Artificial Intelligence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHistorically, BPM was built on a deterministic foundation. Processes were modeled as predictable sequences of tasks, with rules, exceptions, and deviations clearly defined in advance. The arrival of AI, which by nature is not deterministic, ushers in what we can call the fourth wave,\u201d emphasized Viviane H\u00e9rica<\/a>, President of ABPMP Brazil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Based on professional exchanges and the reflections raised by Robledo, Viviane observes that the field is undergoing a structural transformation in how process management is conceived. \u201cThis shift, driven by AI, has the power to redesign companies\u2019 operational architecture,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n

Boris Fernando Valencia Ben\u00edtez<\/a>, a process management expert and CEO of Infoquality<\/a>\u2014Interact\u2019s partner company in Ecuador\u2014considers the reflections presented to be highly valuable for everyday BPM practice.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe evolution of the process office can no longer be limited to assessments, documentation, or isolated process improvements.
