On July 24, the international webinar “La Evolución del BPM en un Mundo Dominado por la IA” (“The Evolution of BPM in a World Dominated by AI”) was held, organized by Interact Latam and Interact International.
The online event brought together over 600 registrants to discuss the key trends that will shape the future of BPM over the next five years. After all, Artificial Intelligence is rewriting the rules of Process Management, and professionals need to stay alert to these changes—or risk falling behind.
Pedro Robledo, an international expert in BPM and Digital Transformation, presented the current landscape and what to expect in the coming years, while also highlighting essential strategies to overcome existing challenges.
Fabiola Álvarez, a consultant in Organizational Change and Leadership with a focus on people, culture, and innovation, shared insights into the current context in Spain regarding Artificial Intelligence and Process Management from a strategic perspective.
Marcos Benitez, a specialist in Process Management and Continuous Improvement, presented the Latin American context—particularly in Paraguay—and how technological changes have impacted Process Management and professionals in the field.
As emphasized in a recent article shared with us, Robledo reinforced the importance of establishing strategies focused on operations and value creation, while avoiding unnecessary automation. Otherwise, he warned, organizations may lose focus and create new challenges for management.
“According to data from IDC, 60% of organizations are focusing their automation strategies on the business outcomes they aim to achieve, rather than on specific technologies,” Robledo highlighted optimistically. In his view, implementing AI as a technology should not be the end goal—it is the desired results that matter most.
In addition, Iván Lasso, Director of Interact Latam, presented the new features of Interact Flow 7.0, which are centered around the assessment of the Maturity Model inspired by the framework developed by Pedro Robledo.
