How Hospital Bruno Born Achieved ONA Level 3 Accreditation Amid the Pandemic
The highest hospital accreditation in Brazil
Only 3% of Brazilian hospitals achieve the highest level of quality certification: ONA Level 3 Accreditation — excellence in integrated management. This is the highest recognition granted by the Brazilian National Accreditation Organization (ONA).
One of the hospitals that reached this milestone is Hospital Bruno Born (HBB), located in Lajeado, RS, which faced the challenge during one of the most critical periods in history: the pandemic.
The Challenge of Achieving Excellence in Hospital Quality
With a clear goal of reaching the highest level of accreditation, HBB invested in hospital quality management and in structuring its internal processes. To support this journey, the institution adopted Interact Suite SA, a software solution specialized in strategic and quality management.
The system played a key role in:
-
Managing the ONA Level 3 certification project;
-
Mapping and validating the required standards;
-
Consolidating internal analyses;
-
Facilitating the audit process with clear and accessible data for evaluators.
“The SA brought us many conveniences and greatly supported us in the accreditation process. By being able to demonstrate our internal analyses, it’s a tool that makes all data clear to the evaluator during the audit. […]
I don’t see any other way for us to continue succeeding in the accreditation process without using Interact’s Suite SA.”
— Samanta Vanzin, Quality Coordinator at HBB
