Webinar Brings Professionals Together to Discuss Third-Party Management

On October 15, Interact and Interact Advance brought together managers and professionals from various areas to discuss a very important topic: third-party management within organizations.

Third-party management is simply a set of processes, policies, and controls that an organization uses to manage its relationships with suppliers, service providers, and external partners who are usually hired to carry out activities or provide services on the company’s premises.

The main challenges of this type of management can range from operational to legal and strategic. When not properly addressed, they can compromise security and even the brand’s reputation.

The key to overcoming these challenges and managing third parties effectively is to connect processes so that third-party management becomes safer and more traceable. To do so, every third party that enters your company needs to be part of this process.

Guest speakers Andréia Zambonini, Corporate Contracts Manager at Sociedade Brasileira Caminhos de Damasco, and Simone Pereira da Silva, Process and Risk Management Analyst at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, shared their experiences in the healthcare sector.

Despite technological advances and AI, the guests clarified that decentralized management is still a recurring problem in most companies.

“Decentralized control carried out through manual spreadsheets, isolated emails, and disconnected processes is still a significant bottleneck in third-party management, which can result in losses and operational vulnerability.” — highlights Andréia.

To address this and other problems faced in third-party management, both Sociedade Brasileira Caminhos de Damasco and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein use Interact Suite solutions to structure and automate the area’s processes, as well as to manage and track the necessary documentation and deadlines.

“With Interact Suite, we were able to evolve from nonconformity to preventive, auditable control, turning a predefined risk rule into an automated operational practice integrated with the turnstiles’ operating system.” — explains Simone.
