On November 26, PMI Madrid hosted the 22nd Project Directors Congress at the Casa de Vacas Theater in Madrid.
The event explored the project economy and the use of projects as tools to transform the economy, from strategic planning to sustainable development across key sectors.
Aligned with the main changes and advancements in the field in recent months, the congress was organized into thematic blocks that included expert presentations, interviews, and practical activities.
Fernando Estrada, Interact’s Director of International Business, participated in the roundtable “Economic Project Management – Keys to Transforming Society Through Investment and Strategy.”
“It was an honor to join the roundtable on the economic importance of projects at PMI Madrid’s annual event. The session provided an opportunity to highlight how professional project management drives competitiveness and sustainable growth in organizations,” Estrada noted.
He also emphasized that the 3P’s approach—planning, processes, and projects—is essential for companies to evolve with coherence and strategic focus. “When these three pillars work together, the organization gains efficiency, adaptability, and tangible economic impact,” he concluded.
The congress also marks another milestone in Interact’s expansion in Europe, as the company has joined the roster of PMI Madrid sponsors.
This connection, along with Interact’s close relationship with other PMI chapters in Brazil, is part of the brand’s strategic approach to contributing to the transformation of business management and to demystifying and promoting best practices in Project Management.
