Growing in the pharmaceutical sector requires far more than commercial expansion. It demands control, traceability, regulatory compliance, and strategic decisions based on reliable data. Faced with this reality, Axon Pharma—a company with operations in Chile and Colombia—decided to take a decisive step toward digital transformation.
With 20 years of experience in the import, representation, and commercialization of medicines and medical devices, the company was going through a period of accelerated growth. However, this expansion also brought structural challenges: largely manual processes, decentralized information across departments, a lack of integrated performance indicators, and difficulty transforming operational data into strategic intelligence.
The need was clear: replace fragmented systems with a single, secure, and scalable environment capable of integrating governance, process management, risk management, document management, and project management.
The answer came through the implementation of customized modules from Interact Solutions’ SA Suite, adapted to Axon Pharma’s operational reality and working methodology. The solution made it possible to centralize workflows, automate critical activities, strengthen information traceability, and connect strategy to operations in real time.
The project was carried out between February and May 2025 and included a detailed diagnostic phase, module customization, hybrid team training, and technical validation before the go-live. Throughout the implementation, challenges such as integrating dispersed data, adapting the organizational culture to the new technology, and aligning methodologies with PMBOK-based practices were successfully addressed.
More than a technological implementation, this case demonstrates that digitalization is also a human and cultural process. Leadership commitment and transparent communication were key factors in the success of the initiative.
